Sarah is an associate at Georgiou Partnership LLP who supports our partners and senior lawyers in the areas of commercial litigation, international arbitration, insolvency, judgment enforcement, as well as compliance and investigations. Her experience includes cases involving corporate law, intellectual property, construction claims and employment matters.
Sarah is currently working on the following cases:
- Hong Kong seated arbitration under the HKIAC Administered Rules between a Hong Kong start up accelerator firm and a NASDAC listed entity concerning debts due under a convertible note.
- Recognition and enforcement proceedings before the Hong Kong High Court concerning a judgment from an Australian state court.
- Hong Kong court proceedings on behalf of Singaporean liquidators of a large Malaysian bank to obtain recognition orders and Norwich Pharmacal order.
- Hong Kong High Court proceedings representing a Thai fabric manufacturer to recover unpaid purchase price including obtaining summary judgement and garnishee order for judgment debt.
- Domestic arbitration proceedings on behalf of a mainland Chinese main contractor defending against claims brought by an excavation sub-contractor.
